Yep, my little piggy (V4-8 on the rear) is gonna get that asap!

Daniel, when your Bush Hog left here it was still clean. I don't know what bad weather Brian may encounter till he gets to your place, but I do know that your Bush Hog will be glad to finally be home. It has been a long trip from Will's home in Canada to a final home in Kentucky. Enjoy your new addition when Brian arrives.

I will definitely enjoy seeing her arrive!  Just got off the phone with Brian.  He's in a patch of snow going past Columbus Ohio, but by the time he hits Cincy, I think he'll be in the clear all the way down here.  Hey Grand, tell Linda the Ky folk said hello!

the poor monty on the front has never seen salt till it left my house im guessing the same with the rest of the load on the trailer. im not to worried all those gts will have great homes and be cleaned very well im sure

That was the first thing Brian said when he got to our place. He was wanting to get the road salt washed off of all of the tractors. Brian was showing me this morning when we were strapping down the load how nice the monty was. He said that it definitely looked like a tractor that had spent most of its life under cover. Even the tires were still in great shape. I'm sure Brian will be washing everything when he gets home. As for me, I may have to wait until Monday to get decent weather to power wash the two walk behinds that Brian gave me.

We'll get a water hose out when he's here so that Monty can get clean.

Linda says Thank You for your Hello from the beautiful state of Kentucky. Daniel, please make sure that Brian is well rested before he leaves. I am not very good at strapping loads, but I do know that from helping him this morning, this poor guy needs some rest.  He got some extra rest from spending the night with George and Erica and sleeping in a real bed but he still seemed tired. Please Dear Lord let Brian safely complete his trip to Daniel"s.

Brian just left a few minutes ago.  Sure hated to see him leave so soon, but he still has 1,100 miles to go.  By the time he gets home, this trip will total just shy of 5,000 miles!!!!!!!  But he's tough as nails....I'd not be able to do such a trip myself.  But I was so much enjoying his visit that I forgot to take pics!  :wallbanging:  :wallbanging:  :wallbanging:  :wallbanging:   Brian took some just before he left, but I have no pics with him in them!   Josh (supply sargeant) and Chris (eggman) came & visited too & picked up their 2 plows Brian hauled down from PA.  We had a good time, but all too short.  I now have possession of my Bush Hog V4-8.  I'll get pics later today.

Brian isn't gonna try to drive straight through.  He'll take a snoozer break somewhere in between here & home.  Was great getting to visit with the guys!

Last word, Brian was in Missouri, but by now he should be down into Arkansas.  Right now it looks like clear weather all his way home.

5000 miles, Wow, this has to be the marathon GT road trip of all time. Does anyone

have a count on how many different pieces of equipment saw the deck of that

trailer since Brian left home? Or how many coffee cups will roll out of the passenger

side when the door gets opened?

Well, I can tell you how many coffee cups would come out. Exactly NONE. He likes sweet tea and always has some or knows where to stop for more!

Good safe trip Brian. I have one thing I have to point out. The Monty in your possession is the Springfield built machine. I think someone had said otherwise in the thread. Anyway, good deal on it, I have one just like it.
