Brian, if you see this, it's starting to snow it's butt off here. You'll be driving back thru it I'm afraid.

Ok I am home now. I had a great visit at Pete's house while awaiting Brian's arrival.

I still can't get over everything Brian has been doing on this trip!! He is a great guy and I am glad I finally had the chance to meet him!

Brian is now on the road again heading to up state NY. (I think it is around 700 miles?) So hopefully he will try and get some rest soon.

It would have been nice if the sun was out and the weather a bit warmer but it was still a great visit! Brian even gave me the Simplicity and the Allis as he said he was running out of room on the trailer.

I hope Brian can drive in snow and ice conditions.  I just got home from work and it was snowing like a son of a gun in spots.  Roads were hit and miss.

I was able to test out the truck with the studded winter tires all around and weight ( six 70 lb tubes of sand over the rear axle) in the back.

I hope Brian makes out ok.

Chris, I'm glad to hear your report and how nice your visit was.

The temp is 20 F here in CT this morning. We had snowsqualls last night. It is probably much worse in upstate NY. Let us know how you are Brian. Good Luck, Rick

Yesterday KK was up at a friends house. I told her she could go on one condition... Be home by 3pm.
I was a bad Daddy, and I knew it from the facial expression... But she was and I'm glad too... By 4 the roads were covered and by 5 the scanner was doing nothing but talking about cars in ditches. It had snowed like crazy for an hour earlier, then melted, then got colder and snowed some more... Roads got pretty slippy.
When I woke up this AM, it was 15f (-9C)... Climbing now to 19F.

Anyways, here is a couple pics around 530 or 6P out the front door, we have another inch and change since these.

Looks like you are set up ready yo go! Just cold down my way. Hope Brian is safe and warm some where. My trip to KS last year was in the snow 60% of the time! Not fun dragging a double axle trailer full of a garden tractor steel in that white stuff!
