My wife and I have adapted a low carb high fat lifestyle and enjoy our coffee every morning. Maryann(my wife) found a simple way to make a coffee which tastes like a frappe or cappuccino.

We use a Magic Bullet to blend it. This "as seen on TV" works really well.

It is a 1/2 tbs butter and 1 tbs coconut oil blended with a cup of coffee. We are addicted! :dancingbanana:  This stuff is great! :rolling:  I want to try it with espresso or super strong coffee(tar).

Interesting, I am not a big coffee drinker, but I have started using coconut oil to make popcorn.

My wife & I are both coffee drinkers about a pot & a half a day....this sounds like something to try.

Believe it or not, I have never got into coffee.  I'm hyper enough already.

Do it like my grandfather:

1/2 cup of grounds in cast iron frying pan, then add water and boil. Don't strain, just pour slow.

That would make one strong cup of joe!! :rolling:  :rolling:

I drink about a pot of percolated coffee on a day off.  Almost that much of Bunn made coffee on work days.  I like mine black.

Just because, I will try the butter and oil.  Once.

I do use coconut oil exclusively in my whirlypop popper.

Only way to improve the frying pan coffee is to do it over a campfire---- nectar of the gods!
