I just saw this pop up for sale locally. I was curious what it may be worth? I don't see a price listed - and i'm not really looking for another tractor. However, I thought someone on here might be interested.

What all attachments did they make for these? It's pretty cool looking.

If someone travels this way to check out that ride a matic they should pick this up on the way...

I wouldn't mind having a hydrostatic tube frame one day.. I figure the plow is worth that amount...

Got to love his description!

"This tractor is very rare and the blade is even more rare"

I better put mine on ebay, I have 3 blades I could get $500 each for!!!! :rolling: :hitting_self_roller: :bs:

ahhhh, I see what's going on now.  The reason they are so rare is that there is some guy, (who shall remain nameless but I believe he is a staff member over at GT Talk) is hoarding them so he can drive up the price and eventually sell them on ebay. :bigrofl:

The thing I don't get is where people are getting the idea that Bolens are "Rare" Sure somethings are harder to find but most Models of Bolens were mass produced and there's still a ton of them around. To say a Ride-a-Matic is rare is just plain crazy.

There are a few models of ride-a-matics that you can say are a little more rare than others like the model 20hd-03 with the wider front axle an model 200. Yes most of the others I wouldn't say are rare there certainly are some attachments to them that can be classified as rare like the front sweeper, gang reel mowers, aretor, as well a few more. Everyone has their own price that they would like to get for their stuff. Which they may or may not. Everyone had items that they just wouldn't part with for whatever the price may be. Just putting my two cents in here

Things like a plow, disc, cultivator, sickle mower and other things are very common. The front rotary mower isn't rare but not found everyday. The snow blowers and reel mowers aren't rare but again not very common. The rotary brush is rare. I've never seen some of the other things like the lawn sweeper or lawn aerator for a ram. These pieces weren't made in high volumes and weren't desirable. How many brushes were sold remains a mystery but I doubt very many.

I have one that I have been in the process of getting running for about a year now, bought it cheap but had to put some money into it, carb was really bad-needed new float ect.  When I bought it it came with a mower deck, snowblower, and blade.  I sold the snowblower because it was missing alot of parts, and yes mine still has the belt cover.
