Many years ago a friends dad had what I think is a Simplicity rear engine mower that the tiller also controlled it going forward and reverse along with steering if I can remember correctly, anybody know whar model it would be. I would guess late 50s or early 60s and the last I seen it was in the late 60s or early 70s,his dad is a packrat and probably still in the garage but have not seen him for many years,

Its a simplicity wonder boy. They were built in the late 50s and were built into the early sixties with the tiller steer. Later on it was steering wheel steering.

Thanks for the info, its been a long time since I seen one and might have to see if they still have them. I think they had one complete and another that was used for parts but can not remember them ever using it but was probably before I knew them,I helped them clean out the shed when they built a new garage which was in the late 60s or very early 70s and they were in the shed.
