N East IN is done with the storms. Some rickity buildings and grain silos kinda stuff and LOTS of tree branches all over place. No power out or anything bad my way. Even mostly clear and Sunny for short time around 5:00 pm.

A non-event here thankfully.  I hurried milking though, just in case.  I even missed the heavy rain, as we laid right in a split of the heavy rains, where it just rained a little.

Every one of our members OK?  I seen Wilberj is online.

Rode out a couple of bad ones, I fared ok but my buddy's house south of me sustained some serious tornado damage. Everyone's ok, they're holing up in a hotel until the insurance company decides what to do.

Tons of rain here, nothing worse. It did make the ground so slick I slid a Bobcat down e big hill in my pasture, gonna cost me an extra days rental to get it out. Oh well, it could've been worse. At least I stopped upright!

We are hunkered down in a Sam's Club parking lot just about 30 miles of so from home.

What with some strong gusty cross winds I decided that it wasn't safe to be out ont he freeway.

Even with us facing into the wind, and the stabilizing jacks down we are still rocking a bit when the stronger gusts hit us.

You can go here to see what just tracked just east of us. https://www.facebook.com/1470wmbd‎    You don't have to belong to facebook you can click on photos or video to see. We usually shop in Pekin that's where first damage Washington got hit the worst I bought my first jeep in that town. We were lucky just a lot of rain and bad wind.

We had warnings and sirens by us in Wisconsin. Adam thought it was a great idea to travel an hour and a half away from home to look at a tractor....

Well now, THAT was exciting.

Turned out that we weren't head on into the wind after all, but dead broadside!

When the squall line hit it got down right scary, In fact, the cat dove under the drivers seat to hide out :D :D :D

I decided that sitting out in the middle of the lot was a BAD idea, so I lowered the jacks, and took shelter on the lee side of the Sam's Club gas station building.

After it passed, we forged on towards our "Home Wally World" and it was about as much crosswind as I was willing to handle, so with some 10 miles or so to go, I left the interstate and took some back roads.

That was a lot better as trees and such helped block the wind.

We are now at the home Wally World, and it's still blowing pretty good.  Good enough that we decided not to extend the slide outs.

Forecast says high winds until approx. 0700, so I guess I'll get 'rocked to sleep' tonight.

We had about 5 mins of downpour rain, very strong winds, and some really freaky looking clouds. It moved through so fast, if there would've been a tornado, almost no time to react.

glad to hear everyone is okay. I'll have to walk the field at mom's to see if any new trees are down, already got 3 too cut off the fence.
