Brian, ALL the knobs are original on that dash.  In fact, I don't think there is a non OE part on the whole machine other than the metal bolted to the frame!  That's gonna clean up to be  beauty of an original!  Heck, it even still has the rubber welting on the dash tower top that the hood rests on!

Very nice, Brian.  Every year a machine like that gets rarer and rarer.  Glad to see that there will be at least one looking like it did!

That looks good, Brian! I take it you are going to leave it as a survivor?

Kenny, Yes it is going to stay all Original with maybe if I can match it a little touch up paint on a couple of the bigger scratches.

Looks like it is in great condition! Congrats! You did forget a picture with it all shined up though!

Ryan, I haven't had time to completely clean it up, I may take a few pieces of sheet metal off it to clean and wax it up. That's why there isn't a completed photo of it yet.

Congratulations Brian, that looks great. What did you use for the cleaning? Good Luck, Rick

Rick, I am using a mild dish washing detergent in a bucket of water to clean it up, then I will wax it up and polish it out.

Very nice! No doubt one of the best, if not the best, looking original I have seen! Congrats Brian! I am envious!

Thanks Scott, Coming from you means a lot to me as I know that you and "Titus" both have one that may be in nicer shape then this one, especially since yours has running engines.

That is going to clean up real nice!!  I have really come to appreciate the survivors, cars, trucks, tractors and equipment, they are only original once.

Peter, I agree that that a nice original piece is just a nice as a restored one.

That looks fantastic as a survivor! No question about the proper color. Great save!

i hope I can get someone to match the paint so I can touch up a few of the scratches, Thanks.

Thanks, you have some very nice Hogs up there also.

Daniel, I am very happy to hear everything is correct. I couldn't believe that the wiring harness is in that nice of shape, never had one in nice of condition. I don't really like showing tractors with mower decks on them, but this deck is so nice that I have to show it off. The more I look at it, the more I'm impressed with it's Originality..

Very nice find Brian, as other apparently have tried to find trouble spots and are having a hard time so that means you got a really good one. Then  to top that off you have done a fantastic job of cleaning years of crud from it and when you are finished it should look as good as new.

That Bush Hog is in really nice shape. I can't wait to see what it looks like all cleaned up. If you are interested I have a TR10D out of a Bolens that I would possibly sell.

Brian, if you had an automotive paint shop take a "pic" with their color match camera, they should be able to mix a perfect match to your paint in it's present state.

Thanks Daniel, we do have a couple places that can do that. Do you think it will hurt the gt by doing touch ups on it?
