I took today off work to finish some pre winter chores. 55 and sunny out.

Split the last bit of firewood, stacked it and winterized some of the house with some weather stripping.

Now waiting on a guy to show up with our dump truck off split wood. Bought 8 cords of split seasoned firewood off a guy who quit using his outdoor wood burner. Whole load for 300 bucks. Splitting it up between me and my dad

Got yourself a heck of a deal on the split firewood, will sure save you a lot of work, even $150.00 each for 4 cords is a good price.

Really good deal on the wood. Around here it is $50 -$60 a cord delivered. Got more things done around here today as the sun was shining and the temp was 54*.  Just need to get the 5th wheel covered for the winter and we will be all set. Roger.

That's a great deal I'd say. You guys must be kidding on the price of firewood!!! We are paying 250+/cord for delivered cut and split hardwood! It can be hard to get if you wait too late even at that price.  I don't burn much, maybe 1/2 cord/yr. It's just for supplemental heat.
