Your rebuild looks better than a new unit. Be sure to send the old dealer photos.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Noticed you live in Canyon Lake. My wifes dad lived there many years ago, so I visited a couple times. Very pretty area. Its also nice to see other members down this way, as most live much farther north. Good to meet you!

I finally got it finished!! I'm pleased with the way it turned out, and the only thing that could make this any better, is if Gary was still here to see it. I rinsed the dust of it for a few more glamour shots before it starts mowing tomorrow. I made a couple quick passes through the grass after taking these pics today, and it mows beautifully. I look forward to getting some seat time tomorrow, and I'm planning on taking a video as well. Thanks

Matt

I'm going to try your technique to painting next time. Looks flawless!

Has any of Gary's relation seen it? What do they think?

Thanks Mike! No, the family hasn't seen it yet, mostly because Rita (Gary's Wife) doesn't use a computer, but I just finished putting a photo album together for her, and will be mailing it Monday. I know this will put a smile on her face.

It is indeed a great memorial of Gary for me, as every time I see it, I think of him. Thanks

If Gary was still here, you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off his face! No Kenny, thank you for all the encouraging posts along the way. It really helped to keep me motivated.

This Case mows great! I took a short video of it mowing today. Sorry for the poor video, but it got a little more clear at the end. You'll notice my son Danny on his 52 Standard as well. He feels that if I'm out getting in some Seat Time, he should too. That's my Boy!!!
