I got my decals here.  http://maplehunterde...casedecals.aspx

I bought a lot of my new parts here.  http://www.casegardentractorparts.com/

You can get a free download of your tractors parts manual here.  http://www.eastmanin...86/Default.aspx

You can find all kinds of used parts at this ebay store. http://stores.ebay.c...=p2047675.l2563

This should get you started.

Look forward to seeing you start a thread on your Case.

I managed to assemble some of the tractor yesterday, as well as putting a few of the decals on. I can tell, I'm really going to like this tractors paint scheme. I got my block back from the machine shop yesterday, so I turned my attention to the engine today. I got it assembled, and painted. I know the pics are a little dark, but that's because the flash is broke on my camera. :(  Maybe I'll get a new camera for Christmas.

I think this detail needs to be commented on. It's a nice touch, and speaks highly of the person it references and the person who decided to put it there. (you) I believe Mr. Seaton would be proud.

Well done, sir.

I spent a couple hours working on the Case this afternoon. Got most of the engine components back on it, carb, shroud, clutch, muffler,etc.. Then I had some real fun adding a few more decals to it, as well as setting the hood in place. Its amazing how some new decals can really make something look sharp.

How many deep breaths did you take before you started the dash decal? It doesn't look easy to do.

I took several deep breaths, and then decided to get a bottle of soapy water. :bigrofl:  Even after using soapy water, it required patience to get it adjusted properly. I also cut a slit into the decal, right where the steering wheel shaft goes, because I would have had to remove the steering wheel otherwise, and it didn't want to come off.  Thanks

Thanks for all the encouraging posts guys!  I didn't get a chance to do much with the Case today, but I did have a gift package show up in the mail.  :D  Tires! Two 6ply 23x10.50-12 Deestone AG tires, and two 16x6.50-8 Firestone Tri-Ribs. I have a fantastic wife who's been very supportive of me on this project, as she loved Gary as well. These were courtesy of her, although she did say not to expect anything under the tree this year. I told her I didn't, and I also told her what great taste she had in tires! :smilewink:

I got to ride it today, and it runs great!! :D  The kohler purrs like a kitten, and runs strong. I still have alot to do, but I'm very happy with the results thus far. I'm having a problem with the neutral safety switch, as it won't start with the key, but I'll look into that tomorrow. I still have to paint the grill black, and install the headlights. I still haven't started on the mower deck either, but soon. Here are a few pics.
