A little like Dorothy who danced with the pigs early in the movie and then finished it without any specs on her dress .

Yes  - truly American humor .

Pig Pen was one of the Charlie Brown cartoon characters. There was always a cloud of dirt following him. The scrubbing bubbles are from an ad for a cleaner but I can't bring up the name this AM. Must be that I haven't had my coffee.

(As sung to the music of Convoy by C.W. McCall)

Pigpen, this here is Mr. Clean, and we won't take your stench no more. We're going to lay you down, and scrub you up, so you'll no longer smell like a bore.

Scrubbing bubbles made his laps, and cleaned behind both ears, and Pigpen started to shine. They cleaned his face and washed his hair, they even cleaned his behind.

Charlie Brown was amazed, something he thought, that he would never see. Snoopy started dancing, Linus gave a thumbs up, and turned on was Lucy.

Now Pigpen is clean, and smells real good, but this cleanliness is making him sick. So he walked down town, missing his old self, and checked himself into the Hokey Pokey Clinic.

There you go.

Mr. Clean, the cleanest man in the world, selling his soap and magic earsers!

Pig-Pen the stereotypical dirty kid.  We all knew one when we were kids.

Thanks guys. Pig Pen isn't unkown here in D, because we read the comics of Charles M. Schulz (a german name), too. Maybe Mr. Clean is the guy, we know as 'Meister Proper'. Seems to be a rear view of him... meisterproper.jpeg That explains much to me!

But what's about the second picture?!

You nailed the Mr. Clean part Wolfgang!

The Hokey Pokey is a silly Kids song that americans grew up singing and roller skating and what not to..

A clinic is a rehab center for folks who have...  'problems'  (like drugs & alcohol..etc..)

So the sign is a little pun involving the two things..

I didn't intend to leave ya out in the cold dude!  :hitting_self_roller:

Dorothy in    The Wizard of Oz  did a barnyard scene where she walked on the railing of the hog pen  and then fell in . I watched this movie at least 50 times before I realized that falling into a pen of hogs has consequences that include getting a little on you .  NUTNDUN will have to forgive me about the long sentence .   But since dancing and  " dirt " were involved , I just could not help myself.
