Slow day at work, checked out CL and came across a Case 224. Said it didn't run, hadn't ran in 8 years he said, needs work, the usual ran when parked deal.

So I shot him an email 2 hours later to see if he had it. Well I got an email back saying yes with his number. He's moving and needs it gone.

I hitched up the work truck with winch and off I went.

This is what I grabbed.

The engine is a mouse nest, needs to be rewired. Battery shot and fuel needs to be drained.

I jumped the solenoid and the engine turns over so far so good.

Overall very happy.

You may want to go buy a lotto ticket as you hit the jackpot on the Case. Great buy!  Is that a Case lawn cart? I have not seen one yet.

( just :poke: looks like a fantastic deal.

Great score Pete!!! You can't beat that price!!!

I'll be starting my new job next Monday (18th?) I'll have to come over when the money starts to flow again and buy some of your treasures :D

So just go ahead and leave it all on the trailer, you might be able to sneak a BH or two on there even. :rolling: :poke: :dancingbanana:

Nice buy at a great price. Good luck with it. I have had my eye out for an early Case myself.

Thanks guys! That one is not a Case cart, I have two others though. This is a husqvarna tractor cart, came with the gate too.

The mowing deck came with the mule drive and that was kept inside. Got a set of extra blades, filled the tires and all hole air. I am going to need a steering wheel, this one is crumbling when I turn it.

Chris, come on over! I'll be selling my JB soon. Just shoot me a PM and we'll set something up before it snows.

The snowblower doesn't turn over by hand, he said it's been sitting & it shows. Once the engine is done, I plan on putting the snowcaster on it.

Selling your JB???   Do you have more than one JB, or just need to thin the Bush Hog herd?

I have just one, been kicking around the idea of finding her a new home. I've wanted to keep it, I don't need to get rid of it, don't know yet. I'll never thin my BH heard, in fact, I'm expanding to have more.

So dunno, I feel bad. When I find deals like this, they go right into the garage to be worked on. The JB gets passed every time.

I think I just need to find the time for her. Along with my original D4-7 that's still sitting in pieces.
