How rare are these and how much are they worth in working order

They  are rare, you don't see them come up for sale often. And when they do something is usually missing! Also the prices can be out of sight when they do come up!

 

The price would really depend on what it was worth to you. For myself if I found a complete set up, I would probably be willing to spend up to $300. But that even depends, if it's a full moon I might even pay more :D

Nope :( , you have to cut out the one you have. I always planned on getting a spare panel just in case I found a lift unit.

 

I have to look.. but I do believe I bought the lift manual?? If I did I will upload it on here. I know I was watching one on Ebay a while back but can't remember?

 

I forgot to ask, we are talking about the old style chief like your 67 Chief 1000 right? I hope so anyway :D

Yeah it came off of a 1967 Chief 1200. Hoping to put it on the 1000, but don't want to cut the panel.

If I asked $275OBO for one in working order that wouldn't be out of range.

I happen to know where there is a complete jake with hyd lift blower and deck for 400. it appears to be a 3spd trans. don't know where your located at I am in southern wi.

I am in  South Central PA. That is a good deal if the tractor is fair.
