Pistons are in, heads, intake and carb are on.  Valves are set.  Tractor is in the shop thawing out.   :dancingbanana:

I bought this as a project 1 1/2 years ago. The engine had been removed and partially disassembled.  Didn't get a chance last winter to work on it.  I bought parts last year.  Now ts getting there.  I'm looking forward to getting it together and running.  Tractor and parts have been taking up space outside and in my shop for to long.

Once fly wheel and stator show up I'll be able to finish it up.  Thinking next weekend.  I hope.

Fly wheel and Stator showed up.  Things were going together nicely engine is mounted in the tractor wiring is hooked up.  That is until I had one wire that seemed to go nowere  Now I am waiting on the oil pressure sending unit.  Maybe next weekend.

IT RUNS IT RUNS!!!!!! :dancingbanana:   :bounce:  :peace:The last part showed up today.  It started and runs sounds good.  I'm pleased.  I had it running at various speeds for about an hour. Mostly mid throttle. No smoke after the initial assembly oil grease burned off. Drove it around the yard a bit and seems to be mostly ok.  Although reverse started to act up a bit.  I had the tractor for 1 1/2 years and not sure how long it sat before that.  Hoping something stuck in the hydro.  Although it seemed to work fine at 1st. I'll look more into the that problem tomorrow.  Of course i need a proper sized battery and to adjust the front hood mount so the side panels clip in.

Went out last night changed hydro filter made sure fluid was topped up.  Started it tried it in reverse it didn't work well kind of whined.  went forward and back a foot or two and seemed to kick in and everything seems to work well.  Maybe had a air lock or something speck of dirt, stuck from sitting.  anyways seems to be ok.
