Man ,my power has been off for 37 hours,you'd think in thin day and age they would be able to do things a little quicker.

Sounds like you need a generator! I hope you stayed warm and your freezer didn't thaw!

Yeah,I have an old generator,but it is 40 some years old,and hasn't been going in a few years.

I need mine about once or twice each year, but I also find other uses for it. I like to use it to provide power to drills, saws, hedge trimmers, electric chain saw, etc. just to run it once in awhile.

It has been somewhat rare in the last few years to loose our power here for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time,so I really should get it running because you never know.

Yes sir,I sure was.There is thousands of trees down,some fell on cars,some fell on homes,some fell on power lines.There are still hundreds of people without power.And on top of that,parts of the province are dealing with flooding right now,although not where I am.

ive still got trees & fence down all over the farm from the ice storm yrs. back
