1970's Handy Suburban Trike. Hi-Lo range 3 speed with newer Honda 5 HP engine. This machine will take the Sears Suburban 3 Point Hitch and attachments.

It will pull a 60" Swisher Trail mower with ease. It will plow, harrow and landscape.

It will occupy the children at the reunion.

$1000.

If you want to build your own. I have a front axle with bearings, wheel and tire. $40.

I have several in various stages of completion $400 to $1500.

I do not reply to "Do You still have it?" or any phoney looking emails or addresses.

Perfectly good Suburbans giving their existence to become slow moving three wheelers. Sigh.

The question is Why? Most kids would rather play with a tractor than something like that. It's ugly!

He's e-mailed me a few times, trying to con me out of my machines, telling me he'll pay $200 for something I have listed for $700 then have the audacity to try and tell me they aren't worth even the $200 he offered, just because he's been into garden tractors for 60 years. He then turns around and lists ones he has for ~$2k.  He's a real jerk to talk to, and claims everything must be brought to him because he's disabled --free of charge of course.

I wouldn't DARE ask for "free shipping" if the person lived 3+ hours away, like he knew I did and especially after cutting them and grinding salt in the wound.

:mad2:

I want to see it pull a plow as advertised! Matter of fact I'd like to see it use any rear mount ground engaging attachment.

Seems to me the time and effort he's putting into one these would go a long way towards a restoration, what a waste. :(

Kinda like Hot Rod magazine.   Its always the nice low mile originals that get hacked up and radically customized.  :(

Personally I think it's pretty cool and interesting. He is way off on the price though. Also keep in mind he owns it so he can do what ever he wants with his stuff.

At this point, I think people would actually pay more to save them and get the tractors out of his hands instead of buying some homemade hack job.

Anyone got some extra $$ laying around to buy him out and stop the madness?!!

I have a suggestion or two where he could insert it, but my upbringing prohibits me from saying...
