I know it's not a tractor but it was made by Bolens and they are hard to find. I bought a chainsaw made by Bolens. A few years ago I would have never guessed that Bolens made chainsaws until I saw one come up for sale on ebay. Since then I have watched a few come up for sale on ebay and even put bids on some of them but each time the price was higher than I wanted to pay. I was bored and stumbled across this one on ebay a few days ago and finally I got one. It is in nice shape and looks like it wasn't used much. There is still paint on the cooling fins and the paint on the bar isn't worn off. I'm also amazed at the size of this thing. It's huge and heavy, weighing in at about 28 pounds. It's about the same size as my brothers Homelite super 66 saw.

So you are the one who got it!

I had that saved to my watch list but forgot to bid when I came home :wallbanging:

The Green paint on there is not original and the bar's originally came with a shiny metal finish.

The yellow may be original  but I cant say for sure. Whoever painted it did a crappy job as you can see over spray.

This is a 1961 Model and the weight without the bar and chain is 19.5 Pounds

Congrats on the new saw, if you ever want to sell it I would be interested

I wasn't sure if the bar paint was original or not but I do believe the engine paint is original. I was just going off the shipping weight, thanks for telling me the correct weight. I can't wait to get it running.

I don't plan on selling this anytime soon but if and when I do you will be first on the list.

I also forgot to add that it came with the original owners manual.

I am quite certain the green is not original.

This year would have had the green metallic paint, not bright green.

I have seen another model 3011 and that one had the metallic green which was used 57'-61'
