Can anyone tell me where I can find a hydrostatic filter part 1033878m1?  I am presently restoring a 1972 MF12.

Hello and Welcome to GTTalk!

According to this post here: http://gardentractor...Holland dealer.

I got the filter for my 12h at a New Holland dealer. The part# is JAC 545440. It was pricey but it's not something you need to replace often. Definitely worth it for your tractor, I think you'll see a night and day difference. I did find the filter online also: New Holland JAC545440 FILTER, ELEMENT

Check the forums, there is a very active Massey/Snapper forum here.

Howard's got you on the right path

Please post up some pics, we'd love to see the 12 and your progress.

Does Agco still list that part. Go to agcopartsbooks.com and sign in as a guest. You can then access the MF parts books.

Have you tried NAPA? They may be able to cross that #.
