About the most he's up to now is to drive the 2 miles down here & play some solitaire on the parlor computer.  We'll slowly work him up to straightening the tools I'm sure.  Right now it's too much tool straightening for him to handle, so I'll get some done before he makes it down there.

Good to hear dad is doing better..

When i was laid up due to a leg problem father gave me a big pail of nails that where old and bent. Handed me a hammer and pliers and said Straiten these.

Probably an hour & a half from here.  I'm just 1/2 hour south of Elizabethtown, Ky if you come down I65 to get to the Western Ky Parkway.

Been a rough time with dad's rehab.  Coming home didn't work out well.  Mom has been the problem, as she didn't want to help care for Dad.  Not that she can't, but it turned out she is jealous of all the attention he's been getting.  I took Dad back to rehab per his request while Teresa had Mom at her Dr appointment.  Dad needs a few weeks there minimum if I can keep him there.  He needs more strength built up to take on Mom.  Otherwise we'll have to come up with another answer.

Our best wishes on dealing with this one Daniel. It's sure hard to stay objective when you're trying to handle a situation like this--- been there, know some of what you're going through. Easy to say that patience is the key, but very hard to do.

Actually, Dad didn't need much help if any from Mom, but her constant nagging & complaining took all the drive out of Dad to the point he was losing the gains he had made.

Yes oldedeeres, it's all been a major consumer of patience for sure.  Yesterday was about the end of my rope, physically & mentally.  I can only imagine how Dad feels.

Wow. Have you tried to sit her down and have a talk? Or is that out of the question.
