Good to hear OCHDad was able to come home and enjoy his family.  I think putting him back on a tractor of any kind will raise his spirits and help in his recovery.  I hope everything goes well for the entire family today.

Merry Christmas Daniel. Maybe getting dad out on the BH will help with his state of mind.. I know being in any facility clouds my judgement...

I've been thinking aong those same lines. I was thinking getting him back in the barn might do a world of good. Even if he just had a chair to sit in and watch.

Seeing Grandpa on a GT would do all of our hearts good. So glad he's feeling better.

I think Daniel would have to tie him in the chair! He doesn't seem like the type to sit & watch!

Dad has made progress since Saturday for sure!  He's walking without walker OR cane even!  He still tires fast, but that's to be expected.  Meeting at Sunrise rehab tomorrow to see when he'll be coming home.  My sister has to take him back in just a bit, but he's enjoyed getting out today!  Pic is a bit blurry....had camera on wrong setting.

Glad to hear your dad doing better. If there is one thing I know it's hard to make someone who has worked hard all their life to take it easy.

That's probably his biggest hurdle to getting better, having to sit around doing nothing! But, he doesn't need to overdo it either!

Daniel, it is great to hear that your Dad is doing better.  I agree that finding a way to "put him back to work" without overdoing it will go a long way towards getting him better now.  Merry Christmas to you and yours!

It's great to see a picture of your dad, Daniel. He looks pretty fit in that picture.

Meeting at Sunrise rehab in 2 hours.  Dad will be coming home anytime now.  Possibly tomorrow, but we'll find out at the meeting.

That would be great as long as he is physically ready to come home.
