I hope Christmas is good for you and your dad Daniel.  You and the family are constantly in my thoughts.  You are doing a fantastic job.

Thank you, but I don't feel like I'm managing things very well myself.  Maybe because my head always feels like it's spinning all the time.  I've been putting the last of my oak sawdust into the weaned calves large group pen.  Josh is taking Dad some more Ball Hollow well water after lunch.  I have a lot to get done around here today, so that I can take part of tomorrow off after milking in the morning.

I know you feel like you need to be doing more but try not to. I doubt any of the family members would agree with you and I'm sure they would feel bad if they knew of the stress those thoughts were causing. You've done a lot already and need to take care of yourself so you can help down the road.

Take care.

That's how you know you are managing!

I'd sure like to give that theory a (good long) test!   :smilewink:

My sister Elaine brought Dad home for the day this morning.  He just called to let me know he was there & see how things were going.  Gonna go visit with him after lunch.  He sounded great, except for a head cold.  His mind seemed to be working sharp!

That's great to hear, Dan. Enjoy your day with your family.... Merry Christmas!!!

(Sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee with some heavy cream in it....... I was actually thinking of you as I was pouring it in the cup!  Thank you and all of the farmers who are responsible for simple pleasures like that!)

Merry Christmas Daniel. Maybe getting dad out on the BH will help with his state of mind.. I know being in any facility clouds my judgement...
