Picked up this 69 Chief lt700 yesterday day, all it took was a little carb cleaner and good gas to get it running. Already started earning its keep today pulling the trailer doing yard clean up. I have honest its a fun little tractor to drive.

That's a cool little tractor, what are your plans for it. I've never seen one of them before. I thought Jacobsen only made gt's.

We just picked up a Ford version of this same machine!! Do you need a mowing deck for it ? The one we have is in very good condition.
Ours is getting modified into a pulling tractor ( special class we run in way fun!!)
These are rugged lirtle units for sure!!

This one performed good I know a couple of the loads were heavy. I'd be possibly interested in the deck if your going to sell.

I have a blue 8hp version of that one. It's one of my favorite tractors, and sees regular use

That's a nice looking tractor. I'm curious as to how you found it. I've been going over the tractors on the local Craig's List and with the exception of a couple of John Deere and Cub Cadet tractors everything else is new. I did find a CL ad for a Sears GTV/16 in my State, but no pictures. $450.00 is a little high for a look see mission at least an hour drive away. If you have any tips to find mowers closer to home these days I would have more to post.

Can't wait to see how your project goes.  :good_job:

Definitely like to sell it, as we don't need it. Even have all the framework that lifts it up too.
