...not for prophet ministry...

Who are they worshiping then? What are they teaching these kids? Oh, it's a typo.

I'm a terrible speller, and my 1st reaction was "Good Grief"

However, as I thought about it, it dawned on me that here's a guy with a little less education (maybe) and a little extra firewood supporting a cause he believes in the best way he can.

Funny to read, but makes me wanna buy some firewood.

BTW, how much wood is in a "rick" LOL

If I remember right, a rick is half a cord.

Is that really a measurement? I thought it was supposed to be "Truck" or "Rack".
I learned something new today!
Thanks Doug.
BTW, how much wood is in a "rick" LOL
If I remember right, a rick is half a cord.
The answer I found on google was that a cord of wood is 4ftx4ftx8ft. A rick of wood is sometimes called a face cord. It measure 4ft high by 8ft long but is only the depth of the wood . Depending on how long the wood is cut that source said it could be from a third of a cord to a half a cord. So if the wood is cut in 2ft lengths, Doug is correct. That would be a half a cord. Hadn't heard the term rick in quite a while. Thanks for the reminder.

Always knew a rick of wood as a stack of hardwood that would be turned into charcoal for mellowing/filtering whiskey. The things you learn reading about the other JD {in the black}:bigrofl::bigrofl:

Right, a rick is also known as a face cord, but what if the logs are only cut 10 or 12" long... Grand and alen, the reason you ain't heard of a rick in some time, is because Pa. is one of the states that has made it an illeagel measurement to sell wood by.
"not for prophet ministry" lmao, that's a good one. And I'm sure I don't want to know what they are doing with those kids, my sense of humor is all that's between me and a water tower with a rifle as is...

I would bet that this is a totally legit ministry, regardless of their spelling skills. Assuming otherwise is probably misguided, and not why I posted a copy of the ad.
