I found a picture of a couple of these on a trailer, never heard of them. Do they really exist? No one has ever talked about having any of this model, so I was wondering if someone dropped a 10 Hp in them and re-badged them.

Scott has seen at least one I know.  I'm pretty sure one of his factory sales sheets lists them.

Only listed in the 1971 sales list. So I suspect not many out there.

OK, now for the next question is, why is the frames different with them sitting side by side?

I guess I need to go copy the picture and post it here.

Here's the photos I was talking about,

If you look at the first 2 tractors in the 1st photo, you will see the differences in the frame under the engine and also in the front end.

This is a V4-10 with a 10hp Tecumseh HH100. It's the second tractor from the front of the trailer in the photo that you posted. The tractor at the far back of the trailer is the one he pulls with(nice original). The second one from the back is one that the previous owner had hacked for a puller.

I just love that photo. I had it as wallpaper for a while now. Scored those all out of a barn in one shot if I remember correctly right?

Tell me though, that he didn't paint one JD green for his son for pulling? He mentioned he was going to do that...

Is that the one on the back of the trailer as it looks to have white decals.

No he didn't,Titus. He pulls that last one on the trailer with the white lettering and decals. He left it original colors. He got them all in one spot within 20 miles of his house.

Wow....all within 20 miles......wow!   Wish mine had been like that.  My first Hog (D4-10) was about 20 miles from my home, but the rest were way out there.  Just did some quick figuring, and all told, I have traveled at least 3,800 miles for all my Bush Hog tractors & parts.  Worth every mile too!   I think Scott has me beat on the mileage though.
