The wife came out to the shop this afternoon.  She wanted to drive some of my toys!!!  ( :D naturally I said yes dear :D )   I put her on an A.C. 610 that I redid for the grandson.  She wants running boards and a pedal extension.

She liked the W.H. 857 that I got recently.

She was happy to drive the "RICKEDY"  model that was recently stolen and recovered.

Thankfully she was happy with driving those and left the others alone.  Now I think I'll go in and sew something.   OR NOT!         Rick

Just as long as we get pictures of what you sewed! :rolling:   Looks like she was having fun, just like a kid!  A good memory for both of you.

You asked for it.  I've been needing a cover for my electric pull mower.  She gave me a couple pieces of material she didn't like or want.  I now have a cover.   Glad I'm not getting judged on me sewing abilities! :rolling:         RICK

Fix a tractor up for her. I fixed up a "Timberland" for my wife and she is very happy with it. One with hydro and hydraulic lift will probably be best. Then she can sew new seat covers for you. Good Luck, Rick

She has her own tractor.  Tinkerbell.  A purple Wheel Horse.   She has made stuff for me before.  All I've had to do was ask.

I don't dare mention hydro/hydraulic to her or she'll take my 782 away from me.   RICK

Your not thinking this through. If you learn to sew, she will have you sewing everything you need.

NAH!  You didn't see the seam I sewed.    It's like doing the dishes or helping clean house.   If you do it just "right"  you get told not to help anymore. :D  :D :D     Rick

As I recall you would not have the Rickedy mower back if it were not for her. I think you should let her drive them all as repayment. And you should cook dinner.

CR, Teresa gives me old bed sheets when she upgrades.  Makes for great dust covers for my GT's.  And about that sewing machine prowess....get a heavy duty machine so you can start making us some GT seat covers!  I'd place an order for 2 sets right away!

I'm no expert on sewing by any means but looks like you were doing OK!  OCH had a good point, I think all of us need some new seat covers.

I would be thrilled if my wife had enough interest to want to drive one of my toys
