Has the leaf bagger - supposedly will run. Do I fix it? Sell like it is? Scrap it?
I got plenty of projects, so just trying to decide which way to go.
Any one familiar with this model? Year made? I looked at the MTD info and can not find much on it.

I fixed it for you, Scott. Do they show upside down on your computer or did the site do that?

Don't scrap it....someone will want it for something even if you don't want/need it.

It has possibilities.

Doug I uploaded it normal the first time, then upside down the second and it was the same result. Used my iPad to take the picture and upload.

I like it!  Sure is MTD, and almost looks like 900 series in more modern form or similar lighter model.  I have a Ranch King with some unreadable model number and it looks similar. The Dash looks good, one area that is bad on mine cause it is fiberglass. 16hp makes it nice size. Think you should Donate it to Me, need address?

Actually that may be a good machine. It appears to have the better transmission. Try to fix it and see what happens. It will probably be a good mower. Good Luck, Rick

That's why. The iPad will do that. Keep the home button the right when you take pics, and all your problems will be solved.

Yea it does.I know that Shift pattern anywhere. That's a cast iron 4 speed Peerless sitting under that tin body.Same tranny JD used in the 1XX-2XX series garden tractors and many other brands.Briggs twins are my favorite engine.Tons of power and very good reliability other than those darn cheap fuel pumps.

I vote sell it or fix it and keep it.Those decks mow pretty good.

Thanks guys- I decided to put it on Craigslist locally for $75 - it has a leaf bagging setup as well- he kept the bags inside so they look to be on good shape. Just too much going on right now to ever get to this one.
