I have seen a few of these Choremaster's at shows and thought they were neat.  I need another project like I need another hole in my head, but couldn't resist this one.  It seems complete.  Seller had if for a few years and hadn't ever tried to start it.  Motor is free and has compression, so hopefully isn't too bad to get running.

Does anybody know how to figure out the year on these?  This one has a Briggs 6B motor on it.  It sounds like some of these Choremaster model B's did have Briggs 6's on them, but I'm not sure the 6B is original.  Could just be a different motor that got put on a long time ago.  Tractor Serial # is 5045.

Thanks,

Dave

Yup, I have 4 of these right now, haven't bothered to try find out the year for each one yet. They are a neat little tractor and fun to put a sulky behind and ride at the tractor shows. :rocker2:
