MH81 , My son took the broken Reese hitch to his work and had a qualified welder reweld it . He swears by the guy and I must admit he did an excellent job on it . He laid a really heavy weld all the way around it .

I got back yesterday from the Ohio PD and the weather was nice , soil condition were good and the MTD did an excellent job pulling the 12" Brinly . It was pretty much untested before Saturday , and I actually had less problem plowing with it than I did my cub 982 .

This MTD is a beast , I plowed all day with the rearend in high range and it didn't miss a beat all day ..... :D

It has loaded tires ( Rimguard ) but no wheel weights but it didn't spin a tire once .

I like these ag tires , and I have a friend that was there and is thinking of restoring his 990 .

He wanted to know where I got my tires .

I purchased a new battery at TSC on the way up and it started fine all day .

I think it will make a few more plowdays in the future . :dancingbanana:

Good to see you got it fixed and working again.

You can pull a 12" plow in HIGH, mine doesn't want to do that, your hydro must be in like new condition.
