One of the guys on chat last night asked me about seeing a Bush Hog D4-10 garden tractor with an FEL. It was posted on another forum & outfit was in Rhode Island, but the guy didn't share anything but the pics, as he's trying to buy it. It is a Monkey Wards loader and not an original Bush Hog loader. Still would be a great one to have regardless. I'll let you know if he buys it & post more info if available.
No, I think they had their own loader, but someone did a good job fitting this one. I found a pic of this same tractor on my yahoo Bush Hog site. The guy's name is Erik. This pic is 3yrs old, so looks like he's not used it in some time, going by the pics above.
Well, after some researching, or really asking someone with a lot of original Bush Hog sales brochures, I found out that Bush Hog did NOT make their own loader, as they used the "Ark" loader company to be used on the Bush Hog line.
Dedicated hydraulic pump. Other than the HD12, HW12, and the JB, the rest are straight trans. Even on the hydro models, the FEL was powered independently.
Yes, the bucket has to come off & attaches at same points as bucket. I don't know of a single boom in existence.
