Hi, I recently had my father in laws H16 repaired by an amazing mechanic who pieced it together from the two the father in law had. We put a bolens tiller on rear which works. The only problem is sometimes the transmission seems to studder or lose power but not the tiller or engine. The guys who got it running replaced the filter and fluid and there does not seem to be any leaks. I tilled up our corn plot just fine except for the random shudders and drive power reduction. Has any one dealt with an H16 transmission or drivetrain in here? I still have the other H16 for parts just not sure what to look for as there does not seem to be any YouTube videos or discussions pertaining to H16. I guess it is not the most popular Bolens to discuss but seems to be a little tank so far.

Thanks,
Ryan

Welcome to GTT. You have a great tractor there. We have a Manuals section that you can download three free per day. There are several Bolens Experts to help you when they come online. Good Luck, Rick

Welcome to GTTalk. You need a Bolens expert to advise you. It could be something simple like an axle key stripping out.
