This 58 is going to be a father daughter restoration. My daughter wanted a tractor like daddy's so I had to find one for her.

What a great way to spend time with your Daughter. I am starting one with my oldest as a 4H project/Father-Daughter deal.

The piece of cork is missing from the cap to actually make a seal. Does yours have that piece?

I made a new gasket, but my tank has a few rust pinholes right at the rim. I'm going to have to solder them up, or use some epoxy sealant. For now, I only fill it about halfway and that keeps most of the gas in the tank.

It has plenty of power. I had the throttle less than halfway open and the gear selector on high.

I ordered a belt guard and starter shield from bob and I'm making the brake system. It's almost done but here's a few pics.image.jpg image.jpg
