Looks like a nice tractor and it's a diesel.

Yeah, they seem to be quite heavy. I believe they are foot controlled hydro too.

After 1983, Gilson made them. I'm not sure if the diesels had a drive shaft or were belt driven like the gas versions. I know the frame changed as did the hydro.

The seller just renewed this ad. Is this a good GT for plowing? I'm not partial to foot control hydro, but I'm looking for Eggman, and he ran Daniels Jabalina on plow day with no problem. If it is, what's a decent price? Thanks, guys!

Wow.  I've seen those go for stupid money around here.  I can't believe that hasn't sold.

I have no experience with these but they are built of the right stuff! And yeah if the engine is any count it's a good price... which is why we can't believe it hasn't sold.

OH NOOOO!

Joking, I have a couple so I can see the temptation. I know it's not the cool thing, but I actually like gear drive myself but you can't go wrong with a 120/140/300 series JD.

Too true. I should have said "drink MY green koolaid" since my GT is a JD140! Hydro should make things easier, thus less frustrating, for his first ride. He mostly plans on plowing.

I know what you mean about gear drive, though, I really enjoyed running your Kubota at Daniels plow day!
