I like mine with a bunch of crushed garlic and salt and pepper and then slapped on the grill. We need to get a new grill or something this year though because every time we turn around our current one is catching fire LOL

Marinate with Worcestershire, soy sauce, & liquid smoke for a couple hours. Cook to hot, pink in the middle and fork pierces real easily. Devour!!!

Used to eat mine on the lite side of medium. When we stopped raising our own, I went to well. Hint of pink OK, but with everything that's out there, the chance of catching something by eating it is just too great a risk.

Marinade in tomato sauce if tough, nothing if a good tender cut. Lite salt rub with some fresh ground pepper. Pan Sear and then do mushrooms cooked in butter and the juices. Put the steak on the grill and cook low heat. Last flip, put the mushrooms on it.

Darn it, now I want steak.

I must be a risk taker...I like them Rare to Med. Rare. I also love the flavor of steak and if it's a good cut, I don't want anything on it to get in the way of that flavor! If it's a tough cut, I'd rather roast it with some taters, onions, and carrots! With some of the middle of the road cuts, sauteed with butter and onions and a little salt and fresh ground black pepper.

I have to agree with caseguy, If I have a good steak the only thing it gets is maybe a little pepper. There is nothing like a good steak!!!!!!

Yeah like that quote from the movie Cowboy Way" knock off it's horns, wipe it's dirty butt and bring it to me on a plate".

Actually I prefer Medium Rare, I want it hot all the way through.

I'll stick to medium, needs to be hot clear through! I use a salt mix of low sodium salt, pepper, celery salt, onion powder & a small amount of garlic powder. A good piece of meat doesn't need anything else! ~~ grnspot
