Would the rearend in a 100A be a good rear to put behind a 16Hp Kohler to pull with?

We used to have a gentleman who pulled one of these but it had a 12 in it. I would be more concerned about finding parts for these in case something would break. Theyre not as easy to find like a wheel horse, sears, or cub.

What is a C-165? Never heard of that model!

That's a very nice looking wheel horse You have there! Did you paint that yourself? Does it have a standard or a hydro?
I have the same tractor with a standard.
