My other hobby is drag racing. When time and money permit of coarse. My race car is a 1964 ford galaxie 500. She's got a big block 473ci, c6 race trans, Detroit Locker with 3.73 gears, strange axles, fuel cell and battery in the trunk ect. It's my first love and a blast to drive. It gets all the looks whenever I take it to the track or a car show.

Nice car, love the old galaxies and fairlanes. I bet it sounds and runs like a beast with that 427.

Cool Car!! Friend had one with the factory 406 & cast headers when we were in High school back in 1968.

Last time I drove past his house about 3 weeks ago it was still sitting in his backyard.

Love those old Fords. Had a '57 with a 312 from an old stock car. Fun but never finished.
The paint job looks like the one on the '57.

People don't believe it when I roll up to the track or show and they see me. They say this your dads and I say no she's all mine at age 24. People love it and tell me never to paint it. I've had it for 8 years, got it as a roller dropped in a 460/c6 from a '73 t-bird. Then took it back out had it built and dropped it back in. Then started makin it light. Fiberglass hood, trunk and rear bumper, 2 bucket seats and that's it. It run like a beast currently runs high 12's with a 750 Holley and street tires now. But goin to a 1150 dominator and new intake next spring. Should break low 11's.
