Can you take a hydraulic lift unit off a 125 hydro and put it on a 100? I kind of wanted to have one but I'm not it doable. There is a 125 with a lift on it not sure the 100 is capable. Any thoughts.

The hydraulic units are the same but the mounting bracket and the lift assembly under the tractor are different part numbers.  It can be done but it needs the mounts that are specific to the 100.                        Stewart

The 100 is capable. If you take what I say with a grain of salt, you will be alright.  You might as well get the rock shaft along with the pump. Switch out the 100 implement lift, or with wistful knowledge, you can modify the 100 implement lift to accept and run with the pump which is made by the Hein Warner Company. Furthermore, you will have to have knowledge on where to drill the holes in the 100 frame to mount the pump bracket. Unless you see in person the pump operating, start gaining more knowledge on the rebuild aspects of the narrow frame hydraulic lift. You will also need to trim away a piece of the clutch shield for the pump drive belt to pass, making the job complete.

The manual you want to research is:

Operator's Manual
installing instructions
Hydraulic Unit 395 009 R92
for IH CC 102, 104, 105, 122, 123, 124, 125 tractors

in this manual, I believe you will find where to drill holes, and how to modify the existing implement lift if you are not lucky enough to get the rock shaft with the pump you are thinking of.

Also, I recommend subscribing to Cadet Connection Magazine for excellent write up topics. Example; fall issue 2013 vol.13 no.1 begins a topic of rebuilding these pumps.

Furthermore, I came across a old IHCC 100 ad, with the specifications on the h. pump:

- 2.5 GPM
- 400 PSI
- 1,800 RPM shaft speed

- ease of operation
- infinitely variable adjustment
- re-position on the move

10 years ago I put a hyd unit on my cc 70 found the installation manual measures and re-measured for the holes and modified my clutch cover and installed the correct rock shaft for the hyd unit.  it works flawlessly.  I highly recommend doing the upgrade.    Well worth the upgrade
