I was plowing this weekend and lost the spring in the hydro.  I fixed that putting 1/4 in bolts with washers on both sides of the control valve, and it work grate that was Friday. Then Sat. It blew a hydraulic hose. I had a new one made this morning. cost $16.44.

I got it all put back together, all lubed up an ready for the next plow day.

Dang it! I hate when something interrupts a good plow day!

Nothing like work to interfere with play time.

That's a good price for a hose, even a short one. Better for it to go now than in January when you're trying to lift a blade in the middle of a snow storm.

I going to do some hose changes anyway this winter. I've got a gear drive transaxle to put in it with a fresh 16 HP and a hydraulic pump. I hate the hydro for plowing.  They are great for cutting grass but that's all.
