to the beautiful Upper Penninsula of Michigan Bear hunting. It truly is a wonder to see what mother nature has for us when we get to be out and about. Fall colors are are just about done there as well as in the lower penninsula. I woun't say it is my favorite time of the year but it is close. Had good time with family and friends hunting this year with a bit of sucess. Just a few pictures of the trip. Only bad thing is I came back with a bad cold.....DSCF5411.JPG A double rainbow on our way out of town to the UP,DSCF5417.JPG Whitefish Bay, overlooking Lake Superior with Canada in the background, DSCF5546.JPG Nice color along one of the roads, DSCF5578.JPG Fog and mist at sunrise over a beaver flooding. Thanks. Roger.

Awesome pictures Roger and glad you had a good time.

Around here the colors are just starting to get vivid and I hope they stay awhile.

The fall really is a beautiful time of the year. It looks like the leaves are mostly down there. We are reaching the peak of colour right now. It's been a bit warmer than normal so it's a week or so behind the normal for this year.

Oh man, Roger, you lived my dream!  Great pics!  I love the UP, but haven't been up there in a few years now.  Glad to hear you had a great time.  (I think I'm up to 8 bear points now, but still can't find time to go!)

Talented you should be able to pick your area to hunt Bear and get a tag with no problem. I have two points and will again apply for the UP Newberry 3rd hunt next year.  Cat sure wish I had known I would of made the 4 hr trip just to say hi. Maybe next time. thanks. Roger.

On the North side of the lakes the water always looks clear and clean. The color of Blue always gets me, how beautiful it is. Took the Ferry across Lake Michigan from Ludington, MI. to  Manitowoc, WI. a few times and could tell the depth of the water by the shade of and blue/green the water was.
