Yep, Meg is getting hitched today.  Mary and I are very happy for her.  She found a good one for a fiance, they've been dating, engaged for a couple of years.  They are having an outdoor wedding, in a park.  I like  the idea of a outdoor fall wedding.  They talked me into wearing a tux.  Yeehaw....

Congrats JH!  Does the groom like garden tractors?   :D

They bought their first house about 6 months ago, and I offered to give them a gt for a housewarming present....He said the yard was too small, but a good push mower would be nice.  My neighbor had a self-propelled craftsman that had been sitting in her garage for several years.  She gave it to me, I worked some magic on it, and gave it to them.  It did just fine all summer.

In the park they are getting married in, Meg and I are going to walk across a small  arched wooden bridge  in lieu of walking her down the aisle to present her to the groom and the preacher.    The bridge is wide enough to drive my JD 140 across, so I offered to haul her across the bridge in a trailer with my gt like we used to do when she was a little kid.  She said no.....

Congrats on your daughter getting married and the new addition to the family. However it sounds like you need to work on him a little bit and make him realize no matter how small the yard is everyone needs a garden tractor :D
