Took the Power King (plastic King) to the swap meet and sold it today!   Started and ran good, the usuall bad clutch problem, and those HUGE back tires they had as option in 85 and up models. Tractor just took up space in garage and deck I've tried to sell many times by itself with no luck. Put the deck on not working and it sold.  Didn't get a lot, but now have more space.

Tried to sell the MTD 990 and almost did couple times, but didn't go this time. Cucumber Clunker is still here to look at.

Herd's getting smaller this summer, now just gotta  finish up some projects and not buy anymore. Well, can't include the rear blade and W-horse Deck I got today, or the floor drill press, they aren't tractors, Heh! :smilewink:

Congrats on the sale. I personally really like the Plastic King models. Sometimes it's just time to re think a hobby and selling a few tractors to redirect the space and money is all part of that.

Well, more room is good too. Give you the room to work on the ones you have.

I usually choose to store at least one tractor in Pennsylvania each year. :D

Don't fret, I have another just like it, a 1617 that works. It has Ags on back, regular width. It sounds like trans bearings making noise tho, and should be torn down probly.  I would still like to find way to put in Eaton Hydro in it. Can't find one that goes all the way thru with JUST shafts out both ends. Most need special rear-ends to mate up to the trans. I want to use my stock rear, just have shafts both ways in and out of trans/pump. Could be in same spot as the present clutch pak is on these rigs. Controls might be harder to figure, but think I could do it. Also have my 2414 in MM colors, so won't be PK-less for sure.
