I've gotta get it out of my buddies yard next week. Engine runs good. 18hp twin I/C Briggs, vertical.

No attachments. I don't have a pic of it, but it looks like this.

The Canadian model is C-459. From looking around on the WWW, I've determined

it was built by MTD. Same as their 145-833-000.

 

The problem with it, I'm told, is that the steering gears are damaged. I'll get a look at it

when I get it home, but if that is the case, then I'll be looking for one of those steering

boxes. If any one has one for parts, please let me know.

What will I do with it, if I get it back on it's feet? IDK.

Nothing beats free will. Good job on getting it. Judging by the way it looks id say its an early to mid 80's model.

Yes, I think it's an 85.

I'll see what it's all about once I get it in the shop.

Maybe I'll find a deck for it, and keep it as a backup mower.
