What do you guys think this setup is worth?  I'm quite interested in the lot he is selling but don't want to get in over my head and these Sears tractors are outside my area of expertise...

(Mods, if this is in the wrong place feel free to move it, I was just hoping to get some insight on this asap so I don't miss out if it is a good deal)

Very nice but way too much money. Doesn't even say if it runs. Ignition repair on those can be very expensive.  Good Luck, Rick

I wasn't sure about the value with all of the attachments, didn't know how common or rare those may be. What would be a fair price in your opinion?

The only thing I can say is here is what I have paid for mine. It has taken me years and there is a lot of convenience factor in getting it all at once, but that may or may not make it worth it...
Assuming running/good/usable condition

1-1970-12 HP Tractor (917.25550) with electric starter,
Bought orange one for $150 with a back blade, 3 point and wheel weights
this one seems to be missing the removable grill piece
2- 42 inch rotary mower. (916.23250) with owner's manual
$50 at flea market, will need bearings probably.
3- Bulldozer. (917.60609) with- ( assembly, operating instructions and parts list)
I think $30-35 was my last one separate from tractor
4- Snow Thrower Attachment. (917.60660) with (assembly. operating and parts list)
$100
5- Vinyl Cab Kit. (922.26173) with (setting up and attaching instructions)
Still looking for one. Depending condition... Up to $200
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6- Three Point Hitch. (917.253060) with (assembly, operating instructions and parts book)
$75
7- Plow. (917.60652) with (assembly, operating instructions and parts list)
$40
8- Disc Harrow. (917.60604) with (assembly, operating instructions and parts list)
$40
9- Cultivator. (917.60605) with (assembly, operating instructions and parts list)
$50
10 Drag Harrow. (917.60607) with (assembly, operating instructions and parts list)
Still looking for one, probably go to $75 or live without
__Not Sears________________________________
11- Spike Aerator with Wheels
Worth not much to a collector
12- Tow Behind Spreader
Homemade one free on garbage day.

So... Good deals & three years to find... Less than 850
Add a little for one stop shopping. I think maybe $1100.

Keep in mind I'm cheap.

As am I lol so don't feel bad. I was guessing this setup was worth maybe $1,000-$1,200 so I wasn't too far off. Thanks for the input, it's a big help.

Most everything looked in fair condition and as I was looking at it, my thoughts were around a !K as long as the tractor run's.  He may have it priced high to give him some wiggle room in a negotiation.

Still a nice complete setup, though, with all those implements.  I guarantee you can't get anything close to that price with plastic attachments for a modern tractor.  If the tractor is A+ and the modifications didn't do too much damage, I would think his price may be close.  Its unusual to find all that in one place.

Just my opinion, though.

What's with the handle bar???

Was it used in a circus for doing stunts, like handstands or ??

Maybe to help someone with mobility issues on & off?.

Well, I went and looked at it all and couldn't help myself. She came home with me. The whole setup was very well cared for, completely original and all intact including manuals and receipts. Hopefully I'll be moving to a farm in the next year or so which means some of these implements will come in very handy...

Here's how it all managed to make the ride home (best I could do for a pic, it was starting to rain and I had to get it in the garage)

Here's some of the implements as I unloaded them.

Btw, those "handlebars" (which I also thought were for someone of limited mobility) are actually part of the cab structure, I think he put the grips on the ends to protect people from the ends as they are rather sharp.
