Inside, above the bowl, is a fine mesh screen.

Is that removable for cleaning.

This is off an old Wisconsin.

Will, most all of the screens are removable for cleaning. Just make sure it is flat and touches all the way around when you re-install it.

Thanks Brian.

This one has cross slot bolt or? that I guess holds the screen in.

It's kinda corroded. I'm afraid it might self destruct if I put the

big screwdriver to it.

I guess I better give it a few blasts of PB blaster.

The screen should be pushed up around that post. I have never tried to take those tubes out. Not sure you can.

If the screen is truly held in by it, I would soak it in Carb dip or boil it in lemon juice before ever trying to take it loose

I believe you can buy just the screen if that is all you need.

If you want an all new sediment bowl visit www.tewarehouse.com

http://tewarehouse.c...c=2&category=30 <-- sediment bowl

I buy all my stuff there every couple of months.

Thanks Bob, but cross border shipping is too expensive.

The gasket will hold the screen in. Didn't see it mentioned.

Pretty cheap to buy a complete new one.

If you just want to replace the screen, go to local farm store and pick up one form another brand, if larger, cut it down or cut your slot in it.

I just replaced screeen in Ford 8N for like $2.50 US
