Hey guys got a Bolen question for you. Did Bolens make a rear engine rider with handle bars instead of a steering wheel and that might have been the cream color?

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks guys, No I don't have one but that is like the one we had when I was growing up. We actually had two of them, after my dad wore the first one out he found another one that had not been used that much. After that we got a tractor type with a 8hp gear drive. It was white with the green and black decals. So I guess you could say I grew up with Bolens. Could either one on you give me a little more information on the one pictured above.

Again thanks abunch brings back alot of memories.

If you want some in depth info check out some of the Brochures I added to the Bolens manuals section. They actually came out in 1962 and started out Gold colored.
Here are some sample pics that are in the brochures. The gold one is a 1962 model and the White one is a 68'

They are pretty cool little Bolens mowers. Thanks for posting the pics and the borchures wilberj and Bolens 1000.

I am curious as to the other two in the picture that wilberj posted, maybe another thread. I have never seen any like that.
