I tryed the epsom salt method.. On 2 differant batts. and have had no sucsess..NOT to say it doesn't work BUT,,Not for me...one batt. was completely dead but almost new, would not even take a charge.. the other would not improve my CCA s .. It started out being only 35CCA and after it was 32CCA,, on a batt that,, New was 350 CCA.. I have one more batt. I might try over the winter..Wanted to just buy a new batt. but it will sit over the winter, so I'm trying to get by til spring for the waranty.
Thanks anyway all who tried to help...sodi

Sorry to hear the Epsom salts didn't work. It really is a 50/50 shot as to if it will work. I've also had batteries that I have tried it on and it didn't help. To me the big thing is if it doesn't work your not out a lot of $$$ and if it does then you're good to go for a while longer.

Does anyone know where to drill on the sealed batteries? I rear Brian's thread and it said there is indentation lines, do you drill in between those then cap them? Got a couple getting weak, already bought Epsom salts
