I am considering selling my early 60's burns tractor. Its really cool...just not a wheel horse. These are really neat tractors in person...there are a lot of cool things on them...it has a aluminum steering wheel, cast iron belt guard, chrome racing stripe down the hood, and the same throttle controls like 1960 wheel horse suburban's used. It has a cast iron briggs engine that I am unsure of the hp of and a peerless tranny. The tranny works very well but will drip a couple drops of oil on the floor. The motor runs well...but will smoke just a tad bit, but not very bad. The carb was recently rebuilt but could probably use a little bit of adjustment. The tires all hold air well and the mower deck works very nice...I have mowed with it a couple times.

Looking for someone who will enjoy it...Asking $400

Located In South haven, Mi

Will consider trades for round hood wheel horses.

Maybe even a cub cadet original...but no other model cubs.

Interesting!  Is it wearing Wards Riversides on the rear?  I'll bet, living in South Haven makes you a Flywheelers regular?

Jake, that looks like a nice machine.  You don't see many of those.  Hopefully someone will buy it and take care of it.

I paid $150 for mine and it is a Gilson version, but it was repowered with a Briggs at some point. but heck, it runs. (used to lol)

Asking $400 for the Burns version in that good of shape is not unreasonable. Cool deal.

Don't be afraid to shoot me an offer guys....I could really use the money for my lawn ranger project.

The metal is in very nice shape....no rust pits. Would make an excellent winter project.
