I have a old ESKA boat motor with a 7.0 hp 2 stroke tecumseh. I need a coil. The coil has two numbers on it 523009 and it has a 7454. I will post pictures shortly.

Engine Number is 640 03B and another set of numbers 6910406

Before replacing that coil, I'd clean all of the corrossion off the connections and bolts. Cleaning the connections solves alot of electrical problems. Good Luck, Rick

Sears sold that same outboard as "Ted Williams", you might still be able to get the Sears part for it. I had one of these I broke the lower unit off of and when I finally got that fixed I had to replace the ignition coil. That engine had more money in it than a new one would have.
