In another thread I had mentioned my wife was thinking she was pregnant. We got a positive test this morning. So one step closer. She is making an appointment to verify the test. I'm pretty excited. Scared but excited.

This will be my first kid of my own. My wife had a 2 year old daughter when we met 2 years ago. Not really scared of having a kid as we already do but the 9 months proceeding.

Do you know where the lotion is located? You're going to need to know that for quite a while. How are you on foot rubbing? Don't fret, you'll have it down pat in about 7 or 8 months from now.

Do you wake at the slightest change in noise level in the home at night? If not, you soon will.

Can ya get by on four hours of sleep a night? And I don't mean 4 hours straight.

Congrats!

You might want to start carrying about 20 pounds of stuff around with you every place you go so you can get used to it.  As you will be doing that for the next 3 or 4 years.  But you will like it.  :bounce:

I don't mind doing that stuff. Better than changing diapers.

Well, this morning my wife woke me up at 3AM.  She had a miscarriage at 6 weeks.

She is pretty upset, sat crying for awhile.  I'm a pretty practical guy.  Things happen for a reason, something was wrong.

Just try again!

First off Sorry about the news. I completely know how you feel. My wife and I have been blessed with two beautiful and healthy girls but it wasn't without some heartache. My wife has had 4 miscarriages, 3 at 6 weeks, and one at 8 weeks. I've thanked the Lord many times for taking those souls sooner rather than later. I believe that our soul is created at conception and I guess God needed those souls for more important things.

I'm not sure if your wife has miscarried other times but after our fourth the doctor did some testing and found out that my wife has a blood clotting disorder that causes miscarriages. She is now pregnant with our 3rd and is due on November 3rd. This pregnancy has been without issues except she has to give herself a shot once a day.

I'll say some prayers for you and your wife's peace.

She has been diagnosed with a clotting disorder recently.  Mainly the reason we decided to try for a baby as she can no longer be on birth control.  Plus I'm not getting any younger.

Thanks for the kind words.  I wish I could of stayed home today with her, but I already took monday off for my great aunts funeral and we had a major belt structure collapse and today I spent inspecting the one on our property for damages, rust, and general negelect.
