The last 3 months I have not owned a Garden Tractor... Well that changes today.

I was browsing Craigslist the other day and stumbled across a John Deere 300. I've been looking for something with a 3 point hitch that I don't have to manually lift (sorry Sears). Well this has the 3 point hitch with 4 front ports and 2 rear ports. It has a mowing deck. Which I will have to mow my yard with because I am trading my Kubota G5200 for it.

It looks in pretty good condition. I'm actually pretty excited about. Ask me about it again in a week when it's already went thru two tanks of gas.

I will post pics later. I'm still getting the "your forum has disabled image sharing from this app"

I loaded them from tapatalk before but it's touch and go. Either it's working or not.  I am having to drive a hour and a half to get it.

Any John Deere guys can chime in and give me questions or concerns about these mowers?

The one pictured is the one I am getting.  Is it unusual for 300's to have 3 point hitches and hydraulic ports?

I think the LANZ 300 is slight larger than the one I am getting.

The Kohler 16 Hp is not very smooth at idle they tend to shake alot,as you get away from idle it smooths out the closer it gets to wide open throttle

The one pictured is the one I am getting.  Is it unusual for 300's to have 3 point hitches and hydraulic ports?

The front remote ports were standard, the rear ports were only installment by owner or dealer to use the 3 point hitch attachment.

I loaded them from tapatalk before but it's touch and go. Either it's working or not.  I am having to drive a hour and a half to get it.

What exactly is the problem you are having with photo uploads and what Apps are you trying to upload from, TapaTalk??

Congrats on the tractor. I have a 317 which is pretty much the same except for the engine. I have a 314 as well and the Kohler singles do shake a lot compared to the opposed twin in the 317. The 300 has the balance gears and I'm not sure if it has the rubber mounts. If the rubber mounts are bad it will shake the tractor to pieces. That's one problem area for you to have a look at.

It always tells me that the "Your forum has disabled image sharing from this app." Every time I trying putting a pic on a thread it gives me a pop up with that saying.
