I am looking for the physical dimensions of the 60" deck used on the 425-455 tractors. Length, width, and height. A pic of the mower deck gearbox area with the shields removed would be helpful also if the dimensions are small enough to convert one for use to my Bolens.

CAT, have you had a look on JDParts.com for diagrams of the decks. That would give you a general idea ofthe configuration and if it's likely to fit. The decks are listed under attachments when you look up the tractor by model no.

Sorry, Brian, but you'll find no dimensions in jdpc. Cat, tomorrow I'll look for an OM, but also w/out dimensions...

Length is 63 inches front to back is 30 inches and height is 7 to 8 inches. It should fit under there as the wheel base are close to each other. One thing to remember is the gearbox input shaft comes out the back and you need one out the front.

I didn't mean to go there and look for dimensions. I meant that he could look at the way the drive system and lift attachment points are arranged and get some idea how much work it would be to adapt.

The 30" front to back is going to be a problem. I think. The G152 only has 26" tire to tire at 7" off the floor. I would of re-used the gearbox off the Bolens deck.

Thanks for the info.
